How to get there: This beachside resort is right next door to the Mindil Beach Markets and situated only 3 minutes from the CBD.  Phone the hotel concierge to arrange for the $2 shuttle bus to pick you up and deliver you to the casino door.

General Description: Spectacularly set amongst tropical beachside gardens, SKYCITY is Darwin's premium boutique hotel located moments from the CBD. Featuring three restaurants, a specialty coffee shop, numerous bars, a business centre, conference facilities and a casino. Leisure choices include a putting green, fitness centre, pool and tennis courts, with a golf course and walking/jogging tracks right next door. All rooms include private balconies as well as complimentary car parking and a guest laundry. The casino itself is quite small with blackjack table numbers as follows:

$10-$500: 8

Currently cutting 1 1/2 decks out of 6.  Small number of tables may make detection of card counters easy so don't plan a long stay.

• Dealer stands on soft 17 (S17)
• Split to 3 hands
• Aces split to 2 hands
• One card only on split aces
• Double after split (DAS)
• Blackjack pays 3:2
• Insurance pays 2:1
• Dealer blackjack takes all bets (European-No-Hole-Card-Rule))

Variations
'Super Sevens' side bet is available that pays 50 to 1 for two 7's different suits, 150 to 1 for two 7's same suit, 500 to 1 for 3 sevens mixed suits and 5000 to 1 for three 7's same suit.  Like all blackjack side bets this is not a good bet for players.
